Venues… Venues… Venues…

Choosing wedding venues is one of the first major tasks a bride-to-be is faced with. The venue sets the stage for all other aspects of a wedding.

Are you thinking of holding your fall wedding indoors? With the leaves changing colors, the crisp morning breeze, and warm afternoon sunlight found all throughout the U.S. this time of year, why would you have your wedding indoors? Not to mention, the colors provide beautiful (and FREE!) decor for your big day!

Today we’ll be looking at wedding and reception venues that allow you to showcase the beauty of fall.

National and State Parks are less often thought of but wonderful and affordable wedding venues. Many parks have a full time events coordinator that will help you achieve your dream day! Below is a picture of another breath-taking fall wedding backdrop.

Outdoor venues aren’t the only ones that can showcase the fall foliage. There are plenty of indoor reception venues that feature the surrounding outdoors.

The Quail Ridge Lodge in St. Charles, Mo is example of the stunning beauty a room full of windows overlooking a natural park area can create. With the beauty of the park surrounding your guests, minimal decor is needed inside.

The Jewel Box is another venue that that does a great job of showcasing its beautiful surroundings. The Jewel Box is an iconic structure in the middle of St. Louis’ Forest Park, made mostly of glass it surrounds you and your guests in the fall season.

Even if you decide to have your wedding or reception in a more traditional venue. You can still bring the fall season inside though use of fall decor colors. The example below is from a popular St. Louis reception site Windows on Washington.
